Best time of travel

The best time to visit Oman is during the European winter months. Between October and April, the temperatures fluctuate between a relatively moderate 23°C to 34°C during the day and then cool down to about 16°C to 25°C at night. Even in winter, the sun is always invariably inviting and perfect for bathing or active outdoor holiday activities. In contrast to Europe and other parts of the world, precipitation rarely occurs during these months. Only in the Omani mountains, it can be very cool at this time of the year and visitors are advised to bring suitable attire and wear warm clothing during trips to mountainous regions.
