Arrival in Dubai
Faster, higher, further - welcome to the probably fastest growing and constantly changing metropolis Dubai. Impressive days in the city await you before you continue your journey to Oman. Upon arrival at Dubai airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for the upcoming nights. Use the rest of the day to recover from the trip. Why not lie down by the hotel pool or dip your toes into the Persian Gulf.
Dubai City Tour
Today you will explore the highlights that Dubai has to offer. Dubai is often referred to as a 'city in flux' and is known for its unique cosmopolitan atmosphere. The combination of Arab culture with modern architecture and industries fascinates every visitor. Start with a drive along the luxurious streets of the palm-shaped archipelago of The Palm Jumeirah. Keep your camera ready to take unique pictures of the Burj Al Arab. Continue on to the Jumeirah Mosque. Admire the elaborately designed interior and learn a lot of interesting facts about the Islamic culture of the city.
Discover Dubai
Enjoy the day at leisure. Explore Dubai further on your own or go on a shopping spree at the famous Dubai Mall. Of course we also have plenty of additional insider tips that we would be happy to share with you.
The Sultanate of Oman
Today, in the early afternoon, you will continue your trip and fly to Muscat, the capital of Oman. At the airport, you will be greeted by the team of the Prime Class Lounge, who will assist with your entry formalities while you can relax in the lounge. Then, you will be accompanied through the airport to the arrival hall, where your private driver guide is waiting for you. From here, you will be brought to your hotel, however, on the way there, you will stop at the idyllic oasis Birkat al Mauz. Explore the village center, where you can admire date plantations, old mud houses and the famous Falaj water canals, one of the four UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites in Oman. From there you will continue to your hotel. In the middle of the unspoiled region you can relax in absolute silence and with a breathtaking view.
The Green Mountain
Today is a perfect day for an extensive discovery tour through the surrounding mountain region. The Jabal Akhdar region (in English "green mountain") is one of the most fertile of the country and turns lush green, especially during the winter months. Here you can find pomegranates, apricots, almonds, walnuts, grapes as well as the roses from which the famous Jabal Akhdar rose water is distilled, grow on the impressive terrace fields. In the afternoon we recommend a detour to the former capital Nizwa. Start by exploring the traditional souk, which is famous for its silverware and potteries. Climb the tower of the fort, from where you have a wonderful view of the city and the surrounding highlands.
The Mountains of Oman
The mountain region guarantees ideal conditions for hiking, mountain biking or a relaxing day with breathtaking views
From the Mountains into the Desert
Today you will leave the stunning mountain world of Oman and make your way into the desert. Shortly before reaching the desert you will stop in Al Mudhaireb. Particularly worth seeing is the vibrant market place with its old houses and the magnificent wooden doors, some of which are from Zanzibar. This village offers a particularly authentic insight into the life of the locals.
By sunset you will be reaching the Wahiba Sands. Be amazed by the drive through the dunes of the breathtaking desert, where the colors change hourly: from white in the morning to ochre to almost red in the afternoon. Once in the desert, enjoy the mesmerizing camel ride into the sunset towards your "desert hotel". The Canvas Club Private Camp is built exclusively just for you in the desert, about 40 kilometres away from the main route. Indulge into the great variety of tastes that your private chef has to offer and relish absolute silence far away from civilization in this unique atmosphere.
Wadis and the Coast
Spend the morning in the wonderful Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most beautiful and famous wadis in the country. This natural retreat impresses with constant water flows and invites you to refresh yourself with its large pools filled with turquoise water. Small hikes are also possible here.
The journey then continues to the port city of Sur, where you will visit a dhow shipyard after a short city tour. Thereafter, take the coastal road back towards Muscat where you will pass two further impressive wadis called Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab, which are worth stopping at.
In the early evening, you will reach and check into your hotel in Muscat for the coming nights.
Explore Muscat
Today you will explore the capital Muscat with your private Omani guide. In addition to the Grand Mosque, the Opera House and the Fish Market, you will visit the traditional souk and the Old Town with the new National Museum, where you can marvel at art and cultural treasures from the past. Here, you will get an insight into the Omani culture and way of life.
Ma' As-Salama!
Enjoy the last two days in the capital before saying goodbye to a journey full of new impressions and friendships. You will be picked up on the day of departure by your private driver, who will take you back to the airport for your flight back home.
